ETA accepting applications to join Board as Non-Executive Director

The England Touch Association is now accepting applications to join its Board of Directors as Non-Executive Directors.

The Non-Executive Directors provide a creative contribution to the England Touch Association's Board. The Chair and the six NEDs help the organisation set its Vision, Mission and Strategy, and provide a check and challenge of the Executive Officers.

The Board meets 4-5 times per year with the Executive team to review performance, identify issues and opportunities, and discuss other pertinent matters around governance, finance, appointments, and standards of conduct.

The role of the NEDs is to act in an advisory capacity to the Board of Directors and Executive Management team by bringing a breadth of business and management knowledge and experience for the benefit of the ETA and the sport of Touch in England.

This year we are seeking to appoint the following positions:

  • 1 Elected NED; and
  • 2 Appointed NEDs.

As all these roles are two-year fixed-term appointments and the current positions are vacant.

The elected NED will be elected at the forthcoming AGM on Sunday, 26 April, 2026.

The Appointed NED roles will be made by the Board after the AGM.

If you are interested in any of these roles, then CLICK HERE to download a full role description and information as to how to apply.

Applications will be accepted no later than 11:59pm on Sunday, 22 March, 2026.
