European Youth Touch Championships preview
International Youth Touch returns to England this weekend, with the largest every European Youth Touch Championships heading to the University of Warwick in Coventry.
Forty-four teams from 10 nations represents an increase of 12 from the last EYTC in Vichy in 2024, and just one team short of last year's Atlantic Youth Touch Cup.
England has dominated the EYTC for many years, and the competition is an important part of our High Performance programme. The majority of players who won Gold with the Men's and Women's Open, and Silver with the Mixed Open at the recent European Touch Championships have also worn the national shirt at an EYTC in the past few years.
This year will have 161 matches played over the course of three days across nine categories of competition. Two fields are being live streamed, but it will be fantastic to see as many people in the flesh getting behind our next generation! Entry is free and all are welcome.
