New season, new format, new coverage for Elite National Touch Series

The Elite National Touch Series taps off in Nottingham tomorrow with a brand new format and more coverage of English rugby’s top Mixed club competition.

Format

This year the opening two rounds of the Elite National Touch Series (NTS) will be played over the course of a whole weekend, mirroring the same format that players will experience at the European Touch Championships in July and The Nationals in August.

Games will be 40 minutes long with a five-minute half-time, and all teams will have three games on each day.

Twenty-six teams have entered this first Round and have been tiered into Elite, Premiership and Championship competitions.
