2014

The England Touch Association are looking to recruit male and female players for the Northern Stars Under 18's mixed touch squad. This team will compete against the Southern Mavericks region at the National Touch Competition held in Cambridge on September 7th 2014.

This tournament will run alongside the men's and women's opens' competition, and will showcase the best Touch players in England. From the U18's representative teams, a national squad will be be selected to play for England in a European competition in 2015.

The squad will be coached by current England internationals, Zoe Parish and Ben Meakin.

Details for the Selection Day:

Who: All male and female players aged 18 or under on September 7th 2014. Players North of Birmingham will be eligible for selection for the Northern Stars. (Map coming soon)

When: Sunday 20th July, 11am - 3pm. Registration open from 10:30am

Where: NEW UPDATED VENUE DETAILS: Trinity School, Upper School Beechdale Road, Aspley, Nottingham, NG8 3EZ

Facilities: Male and female changing/toilet/shower facilities are available in the sports complex. There is plenty of parking available in the car park and on the adjacent road.

Kit: Please bring a dark and light coloured playing top. No metal studs allowed. Bring drinks and snacks for the session and suitable clothing depending on the weather.

Cost: £5 (payable on the day)

Format of the trial: Skills sessions followed by games of Touch
