England Touch welcomes new Compliance Director

 Trevor Jefferies, from Medway Touch, is England Touch's new Compliance Director, responsible for driving policies and procedures with the organisation and moving the sport towards Sport England recognition.Trevor brings a wealth of experience to the organisation with knowledge of the processes of local authority procedures and paperwork. He has been a club rugby and schools coach for 7 years now and two years ago set up Medway Touch as a section of a local rugby. He is a level 2 referee and attended the Level 2 coaching course in Bristol last July. He currently coaches touch at a number of primary and secondary schools and 2010 will see 8 primary schools taking part in an after school league during Spring and 10 secondary schools taking part in a summer after school league along with a number of other one off events as well has running a number of senior leagues in the Kent region. He has extensive experience in club management and development and also works with the Kent RFU community coaching committee. By profession he is an  accountant. England Touch would like to welcome Trevor onto the Operational Committee and look forward to his contribution in 2010.
