The season’s highlight will be the 2024 Touch World Cup, which heads to England for the first time between Monday, July 15th and Sunday, July 21st. The University of Nottingham’s Highfields Sports Complex retains its place as the home of international Touch in England, with the World Cup following the Atlantic Youth Touch Cup and multiple European Touch Championships all held at the same venue.

England Touch is planning for a Youth international competition to be staged in 2024, although we are waiting confirmation of dates and venue from the Federation of International Touch. More information will be published when it is available.

The country’s best players will have the opportunity to run their rule over the Highfields pitches in the Opens, Seniors and Masters Nationals during the first May Bank Holiday, May 4th to May 6th.

And the Touch World Cup will be sandwiched by the 2024 National Touch Series. As with the season just gone, there will be two rounds of Mens / Womens competitions and three rounds of Mixed, with the Saturday of the weekend for Divisions 1 and 2, and the Sunday for Divisions 3 and 4. Entry information will be published in due course, with Divisions 1 and 2 teams being emailed directly by the England Touch events team.

Any questions can be emailed to events.manager@englandtouch.org.uk

The year starts with the BUCS University Touch Championships. This coming season will have two rounds in each of the South and North areas before Christmas, and then three national tournaments in the new year. Entry information will be announced shortly.

Any questions about the University Touch Championships can be emailed to university@englandtouch.org.uk

With such a busy calendar, and the prospect of organising a Touch World Cup with more than 150 teams coming to this country, England Touch is in more need than ever for volunteers to help plan, organise and manage its events. If you are a player, coach or referee, and have a friend or family member who is looking for some volunteer experience, then please email events.manager@englandtouch.org.uk – thank you for your support!
