We do this in a variety of ways, from administering referee and coaching courses, hosting player development days, promoting events and tournaments, liasing and working with a number of partners to deliver the sport, developing and selecting National squads and working with the European and Worldwide Touch community to grow the game.
At this time, England Touch don’t specifically run events, but endorse and support groups, clubs, one-off tournaments and leagues who are seeking technical and practical support and advice. This ensures that Touch is delivered in a consistent and standardised format in accordance with F.I.T. rules, so that everyone involved in the game knows what to expect.
We believe Touch is a sport in it’s own right and the individual skills, technical and tactical elements and rules make the sport unique and individual in it’s own right. This is why so many players come from a variety of other sports to play Touch. Just as a football team would affiliate with their National Governing Body, and a Rugby team likewise, we are working to get anyone involved in delivering the sport of Touch to affiliate to England Touch.
We look forward to hearing from anyone currently involved or seeking to be involved in growing this great game!

Hello there. I am the captain of the St.Andrews University Touch Rugby team in Scotland. We are the first university in Scotland to have such a team and we have been training for over a year but find little opportunity to compete. I was just wondering if you guys at this site could give me any information of any day tournaments anywhere where we would be permitted to play (we are willing to travel). I do appreciate that the site is called “Englandtouch” but our team is predominantly English so if u could give me any help, Id greatly appreciate it!

Hi Cormac
Fantastic to hear about your University Touch team.
There is a tournament coming up in Manchester in February which would be great for you - look at our news and events links. There is a social mixed, Mens and Women's comp. It is run by Manchester Chargers - so you could check out their website.
Please also have a look at our events calendar and keep looking throughout the year - there will be many tournaments through the year that you are more than welcome to attend. Also have a look at the Challenge Series (under Touch Series) which will be run through the summer and should be great fun (mixed tournaments).
Hope to see your team on the Touch field soon!
