We always want to hear from anyone who is interested in running a tournament or league in England so we can offer our support and assistance to get you started. Please contact us in the first instance.

Organised leagues:

Organised leagues are required to affiliate to the national body in order to become recognised as an official league and included in regional, national and international activities. This includes accessing regional, national and international resources to assist in the development of the sport.

Benefits include:

· RFU insurance for all listed Touch activities
· Direct involvement in shaping the future of touch in England
· ETA support for your events, including web site listing and ETA branded Touch Balls.
· Input into the sport’s development in Europe and around the world
· Access to partnership arrangements negotiated by the national body
· Regional and national media promotion of your league and related activities
· League protected under the national constitution, by laws and policies
· Referee access to development with formal internationally recognised 5 level European Referee Qualifications
· Team access to regional and national club championships
· Player access to protection policies and a national code of conduct
· Player access to national coaching and opportunity to represent regional and national teams.
Affiliation process:

The affiliation application form needs to be completed and sent in with the attachments requested on the form.
Two affiliated members must support the application.
Leagues are affiliated by location. An individual, company, corporate body or partnership operating more than one would need to affiliate all leagues by location.
The ETA Executive Committee then reviews your application and, subject to ratification, your league will be affiliated.
For full information on ETA membership, please read through the constitution and by laws on the policy page.

Affiliation costs:

The ETA are a not for profit organisation who are funded by membership fees. For a small league these are currently £150 per year for all the benefits listed above.
