England Touch runs courses for the following three Touch coaching qualifications:

  • England Touch Association (ETA) Community Coaching Qualification (Level 0)
  • Federation of International Touch (FIT) Intermediate Coaching Qualification (Level 1)
  • Federation of International Touch (FIT) Advanced Coaching Qualification (Level 2)

Delivery and Costs

Our courses are presented by our qualified England Touch presenters (many of whom are national coaches).

Costs are as follows:

  • ETA Community Coaching Qualification (Level 0) – £30
  • FIT Intermediate Coaching Qualification (Level 1) – £85
  • FIT Advanced Coaching Qualification (Level 2) – £180

ETA Community

(Level 0) Course

This course covers the coaching basics for anyone wanting to start coaching and learn more about the game of Touch.

Entry Requirements – none

Duration – 6 hours (1 day or two evenings)

FIT Intermediate

(Level 1) Course

This qualification is aimed at current and potential community school, club to regional coaches.

Entry Requirements – none

Duration – 12-14 hours (2 days)

FIT Advanced

(Level 2) Course

Advanced Coaching for those with good knowledge of the game and coaching experience. Aimed at the elite level of the sport.

Entry Requirements: FIT Intermediate (Level 1) Coaching Qualification (or equivalent Touch qualification) required

Duration – 12-14 hours (2 days) classroom; 25-30 hours pre-course work
